Default For all you that dive out of Alabama

Well we are heading to a rig out of Alabama on Tuesday and wondering what else is good to dive out there. The rig is 35 miles SW of Perdido Pass and we've never really dove out of Alabama so anything out to the west would be good. We were thinking about Wind Reef, Policy Reef, and the Lester 6. Maybe the dutch banks. If yall have any input on where we might run into some bigger fish let me know.

Thanks

That great white was 40m out, you could start there and see if he finds you.

The public numbers generally have great fish on them. AL knows what they are doing and puts out LOTS of new artificial reefs every year. Don't have a link from them, but am sure you can find them, just pick out a few near where you'll be or along the way.

stay away from old numbers. dive the new pyramid numbers. old numbers have small snapper and big sharks. anything that is over 3 years old, leave it alone.

Anyone like to respond to that, sounds like good info...b ut is it fact or fiction!!!

Big sharks.... Sounds simular to Big Gators..... has the same ring!!!

Dont want part of any of that!

I went and dove a river in South Florida a few weeks ago, buddy went back alone this weekend.... same tree we tied up on held a 10Plus footer... Yeah a Huge Gator! LOL I figured something was in the area... I had the poop in my wetsuit feeling anytime!

Good Info again!

I'd have the poop in my wetsuit feeling if my dive gear and me ever made it close to a lake or river
