I went back home to Louisiana to do some fishing ...

...went out through the Rigolets around 5am friday morning, crossed lake borgne and tried along the shore with live shrimp and a float. On the very 1st cast, before the anchor was dropped, I landed a nice 5lb red. Ended up with 4 beautiful reds atthe 1st spotin about 20 minutes. As the sun came up and it warmed up, we moved to an oil platform. Caught a huge sheephead right away, it broke my dad's pole! After a few other sheeps and a couple stingray, the specks turned on! One after another we landed 18-22 inch specks, weighing in between 1.5-3.5 pounds. We were running out of live shrimp, so we decided to call it amorning and headed home around 9am.
