A few days late with posting... Landed a 28, 29, & a 33" redfish. Hung two (probable redfish) that I could never turn - straightened the hooks on my lures after some really awsome battles. Very next day at the same time, it was Gaff Tops. Caught 5 - 4 were in excess of 5-lbs. Was on the water both days at 5:30 am. Beautiful mornings, smooth waters, schooling baitfish everywhere. About a mile south of I-10, west side Blackwater Bay gishing with popping cork with artificial shrimp and top water. Top water strikes were absolutely EXPLOSIVE!!!
