Default Wahoo Suggestions Venice

I have been a long time reader of this forum, but unfortunately I am located a ways to the east in St. Marks. We just do not have the variety of fish that you guys have with deeper water (yes I am jealous). I am hoping to plan a trip to Venice early next year and I am looking for any advice folks are willing to offer on where to troll for Wahoo. I am not looking for any specific spots, just suggestions.

Thanks.

If you've never been out of Venice before it would be best to either go out with a charter or hire a captain to run your boat the first time out. Get a chart that show the rigs and try to get info on where the clean water is.

Thanks for the response. I have been there before, although it has been a number of years. I'm really looking forward to going back. I didn't try any wahoo trolling last time so I added that to the list for this trip.

Default Stretchs

Last time I fished Venice I fished with one of Peace's Captains. We caught Wahoo pulling red/white stretchs. Probably Islanders would work.

hit the "12-mile rigs" and just look for the river rip...talking to the local folks around the docks will help. Don't just hit the rigs...I like the submerged wellheads too!
