outta here 10/20?/08

We left Destin Monday about noon and arrived at Petronious just before dark. Saw a lot of made up grass on the west end of the steps. Ran past it so we could make bait at the rig before dark. Fished P. at sunset and then some, no actiion, ran to Marlin, some blackfins, eased to Ram Powell, lots of flippers but had one good bite, a 100 lbr, plenty of blackfins, eased back to Marlin, more blackfiins, back to P town, more blackfins. After daylight searched and foound the grass west of steps (450 to 550 foot of water runnning ne to sw). Produced one 30 lb wahoo. Trolled back to nipple without a bite. Pretty water throughout with the best water west of the dumping grounds. Tally, one 100 lb yellowfin, more 15 lb blackfins than you care to cut, a decent tuna, great weather and a killer time.

currently tuna is top in the overnight and so is wahoo

Nice report Pat, its good to know somebody is gettin out there and harassing a few fish. Keep it up and stay safe!
