Nipple Trip

Went to Edge and started trolling to the Nipple and 131 Hole yesterday. Got a late start and arrived at 10am. The water was blue with flying fish everywhere, but we could not get a single bite in 5 hours of trolling. No weed lines, just a few very small patches. Still a beautiful day, and I would have been kicking myself if I didn't go. The ride was easy with perfect seas.

Roll Tide. I had been skunked the last 3 offshore trips, so knowwhat it's like. We fished the Edge So. of Destin. One 40# Hoo, One Dorado 8-10#, more Barracuda than I want to mention, ran in early to avoid potentially bad weather and picked up a few kings just outside of the pass.

we were out there too taking the same route. what boat were you in? we were in a 24cc cobia

Thanks for the report. From the last few posted I'd say further SE would be the way to go.
