Default Elbow 9/3 & 9/4

Wanting to take advantage of the newly opened waters we made a trip to the elbow to troll. Had my sister in law with us who as a rule does not fish so we stopped at a snapper spot on the way out to let her catch and release a few snaps. Lots of life at the elbow with multiple schools of blackfin with a few yellowfin mixed in, lots of flying fish as well. Caught 6-8 blackfin (could have caught a hundred) and a couple school sized yellowfin. caught them all on spreader bars on the long riggers. No wahoo, billfish or dolphin seen. Went back Saturday and it was just like Friday, lots blackfin and a couple YF but nothing else. Good to get back out, now just need a fish with a pointy head!

Bait was very plentiful

Sister inlaw with nice snap she caught and released

One of a couple scamp we caught

One of the schoolie YF caught by my sister

Pair of blackfin, which were thick at the elbow!

My nephew seeing if he could touch a bow riding porpoise

One of many turtles we saw
