Default Clean water, no fish!

Left out of Destin around 8am on Saturday morning heading to the petronius rig. Best looking water all year, slick calm the whole way, besides a few thunder heads that pass quickly. Got to the rig, caught some hard tails, then put out the spread around 1pm. Two flats, two lures short, ballyhoo long, ballyhoo shotgun, ballyhoo mouse trap. Spread was looking awsome, everything swimming perfect. Trolled to and around all the rigs, pulled our lines in at the ram powell. Only action we got was, barracudas on ballyhoo, a couple wahoo bites that got everything but the hook and the head, and had whitey hit right flat, then went to our right daisy chain, I dropped the flat back to him and he checked it out, but went back to the teaser, so I pulled the mouse trap past him and dropped it back next to the chain, he checked it out and went back to the teaser. He was on that teaser for at least a minute and then left, but we couldnt get him to eat anything else and no one was downstairs to pull the teaser away from him. We did a couple more laps and got nothing. Lines in and looking for tuna. Ended up at the deep water nautlis or the ocean confidence. I cant remember what rig it was, by that time we were all hammered. No tunas there. Got skunked on all those rigs, so we headed back to the marlin rig slowly. The moon was still pretty bright so we figured we would conserve fuel and turn up the music and drink somemore. Got to the marlin, no tuna. So we went to the petronius, got there and there was tuna, so we put a couple live baits out and made a couple slow laps. No tuna bites, just barracuda. There were tuna busting but we couldn't get hooked up. Didn't have any jigs. We tried everything we had, couldnt get the bite. So we said screw it and did a swordy drift down current of the petro. Got a couple swordy bites and broke off by a shit eater. I'm gonna end the story there. But we pretty much came back with our tails between our legs and on our toes because we had low low fuel. All in all, a shitty trip. Good water though.
