Went to Horn this Sat. night. Caught some nice blackfins 20-30 lb chuncking.Later we swordfished and had one bite but no hookup. Early next AM bait busting everywhere and caught one 50-60 lb yellowfin trolling on a cedar plug. Also hooked a sailfish but shortly broke off. Water was clear bluegreen.I really enjoyed the trip/ thanks to a great crew and hope to get back out there soon. BTW, the yellowfin tasted great on the grill tonight.

We were out there as well. Caught one before dark and another live baiting in the morning about 0630. Just after dark we had a double header of big tuna, kept one on for over an hour before the 80lb leader parted. Couldn't get it up the last 20 feet, gain a couple pumps and then loose it. Very good tunawell over hundred. Real stale mate that just ended poorly for us. Trip wentwell, ended up with 3 yf, all about the same size, and a dozen big blackfin. Saw a sperm whale, a whale shark, raised a blue and nothing broke. Good Trip.
Saw tuna on Ram Powell, Marlin, and Petronius. Tons of bait on Petronius and Marlin. Nice color edge with grass about 15 miles east of Petronius. Green water from the Elbow all way back to Destin.

Nice job fellas, and Capt. Pat, thanks for the water report. We might be heading out that way this weekend.
