Default Sunday Morning Sykes

Got out right after the line of storms past. Met up with Doc and Ken and headed to the end of Breeze side Sykes. Poured our first bloody Mary and dropped the lines. Fog was dense from time to time but other than that the weather was great. The company was terrific, and the fish were....well, non existent? Only picked up pig fish, pins, and one puffer. (I now remember why i don't bridge fish). I'm sure the salinity levels had something to do with it. It couldn't have been anything i was doing wrong..right? Good luck to everyone else! Tight lines!

I was out there around noon Sunday with fiddlers, Had some bites from sheepshead but couldn't get a hook set. I did have a brand new owner hook break on me! I pulled up a 14 in gag and a bunch of flattened fiddler crabs. Was still better than sitting around the house!

Too much fresh water in mullat now I would think, water probably looks like the coffee I'm drinking! I think it would be better at little sabine!
