Default P'cola Pier

Met up with a friend, Chris, and hit the pier this morning hoping for a nice bonita bite. A stiff E wind and mediocre water clarity really slowed things down. While I was there(7-9:30) there was only one bo-bo and one flounderbrought over the rail. There were one or two other bonito hooked up and lost, and Chris broke off a bull red. I tried to work some live shrimp around the pilings in hopes of a flounder but to no avail. It was my first time out to the pier since before Ivan, and it was a nice change of pace. No jerks, just a bunch of guys trying to catch a fish or two. We'll see what the weather does next week...might have to try round 2. Tight lines

Glad to hear about the people out there NOT being jerks. I'm gonna head there this morning with the kids.
