Navarre Pier update

For what it is worth-------I was just sent a notice from a friend of mine that works on Navarre Beach and he said the plan is for the pier to be completed by Sept. 30th 2010.

i hope they can do it.

and by that time, i hope the road between p-cola and navarre is finished.

I sure hope its not 2014. IF they don't hurry up and finish it, I'll be to old to walk out there!

It sure seems like Panama city has there ducks in a row compared to navarre...I heard a pier in PCB will be ready March 1st 2009. I sure wish they would build a pier just east of Destin...man that would be a killer pier!

So the Pcola fishing bridge will be done first. Sounds like 2010 wil be an exciting year for the pier/bridge fisherman of the panhandle:letsparty

The bids for building Navarre pier will be opened March 3, 2009. The bid sent out for the pier gave options for 12 to 18 month completion time so they could find the best deal. If they accept a bid with 12 month completion schedule the pier could be open April 2010. We should have a time frame after March 3.
