Default Bob Sikes Reds

Went out to Bob Sikes last night for a couple hours. There were a lot of Redfish caught by everyone else but me!! I did manage one fish and pulled the hooks on another. On a side note, there was a group of guys out there that kept at least four over slot fish and were not even trying to hide the fact that they did. The problem is that the FWC was sitting in the parking lot at the end of the bridge when I got there, but he never walked down the bridge at all! I was waiting for him to come busttheir ass, when he never showed I walked down there to flag him down and he was gone! My fish was released alive and well. The picture of the two nice reds were a group fishing right next to me...these guys were GREAT!! I helped them net these fish and watched them take pictures then lower the fish back down and revive them in the net to fight another day. Its good to know people like that are still around that have enough morals to obey the law. I also met a fellow PFFer out there, (driftfisher) real nice guy that also tore up the reds and released all he caught. Mine was caught on a whole white trout. Sorry for the rant, but poachers really piss me off!

That other group was me, jtafish, and bigbrandon!

The people next to us were catching oversized and fileting them right there. I called FWC about 4 times and they didn't do anything..

That was a great night!

Oh yeah and Nice fish you got there!!! Glad you guys tore em up! Hope to see you out there again.

yea man the "group" was all PFF'rs.. i was the big guy that used your net to get my girlfriends red.. i didnt catch a damn thing either so dont feel too bad.. between me, and the 2 other guys in our group, we called the FWC probably 20 times with NOTHING done about it :banghead

we EASILY could have kept EVERY overslot fish we caught and got away with it.. these people on sykes are the reason why the redfish fishery is hardly recovering.. some sorry mother f^ckers out there.

these asian guys caught three and filleted them right on the bridge, they asked us for a net and we told them that we would help ONLY if they released so they sat there for 10 minutes before they found a net to use.. i even told them 3 or 4 times that fish was illegal and needed to throw it back..

i damn sure coulda kicked several asses last night and thrown their fish over
