Default 3mile and bob sikes

went out to those two spots lastnight and didnt even catch bait. threw some jigs, some top water, some bait... nothing at all, i couldnt even snag a rock lastnight. first time this year i went fishing and came home upset. there was some dolphins out at sikes tho so that explains that place..

IMO.... When it rains hard salinity levels in the water can change and mess the fishing inshore somehow....water in the bay/sound will be dirty thenext 48hrs from the rivers washing out and all....you can always try surf fishing for pompano and bull reds. good luck next time you go out.

pompano still hear? u prefer pcola beach? where about pcola should i fish if i dont feel like going on the pier? morning or night?

Pompano have a fall fun. Looking at the reports on the surf fishing section they seem to be biting pretty good! I have my best luck in the morning hours but they can be caught thru out the day! The cool thing about surf fishing is you can drive up and down the beach and look for good spots to fish. Look for troughs with sand bar breaks on either side. Places like chicken bone and East of the portofinos are good places to fish! Just go out and have fun! Hope this helps?
