Look at here. There is always two sides to a story.

I give this man the respect he earned for coming on here and telling his side.

Shits getting crazzzy in the gulf. I mean the stories of people running over people, people running up on people, people anchoring on people, people coming on here with pictures and bashing other people. Feels like kindergarden all over again with people acting like this and telling on people.

Good story, but that isn't quite the way it happened, but actually isn't worth getting in a squabble over. You can always candy-coat something to make it sound better. I am in the gulf at least twice a week and been doing it since 1980, so I think I have a little perspective on what's going on. I have found that most fishermen are respectful and courteous to other fishermen and that's what it is all about.Come down and enjoy the bounty of the gulf as we do, and hopefully you won't have another situation like we have discussed.

Although we absolutely hate it when people run up on us, especially if they seem to be just pinging our numbers, we have to remember the Gulf belongs to everyone and their are no "private" spots, especially on the weekend!Like Gene from Recess, we try not fish our best spots when the boat traffic is heavy. We all have "our" spots that we'd love to claim as OURS. The GPS's don't indicate if the rock, wreck or reef you've found has been previously "marked" by someone else, that would be nice if it did! Courtesy goes a long way though, a simple wave of hand or a quick shout of sorry for getting too close can make all the difference in how someone is preceived.
