Offshore-911

Got to the launch a bit before daylight to net some pinfish. Our plan was to head out to the edge early and catch some Grouper and Scamp but as we cleared the pass we dicided to abort that decision and fish inshore...didnt feel like getting beat up. So we hit some hard bottom spot about 5 miles out and actually didnt get a keeper fish in the boat till 1100. Caught several short Gag, Red and Scamps. We headed on up the beach to some more hard bottom and caught 7 snappers and decided to do our 2 dives on the spot so we anchored up and went down to see several snappers we needed 3 more snappers so I got them 3 on the first dive and seen a nice Mangrove and 2 nice groupers I was unable to catch up with. We got back up to the top and the guys on the boat had put 5 kings in the boat during the 25 minutes we were down. We did our surface interval and headed back down....I was wanting that big mangrove and the grouper....soon as I hit the bottom I went to where the Mangrove was hiding..scared him out of his hole and busted him as soon as I got reloaded I looked to the left and there sit the 2 grouper slipped on them and busted the biggest one...Offshore Rn was killing flounder during this time, we tried to catch up to the next grouper but run out of bottom time so we headed back up. We had a pretty good day for staying in close enough to see bikini's on the beach.
