This time of year it is not uncommon for people to catch redfish, even slot fish, out to 220'. It is a law that not many people know about around here. Some friends of mine,VERY experienced fishermen, brought back a limit of slot fish from the edge one time. I found out about it before The FLW redfish championship a few years ago, people were saying that if you went to La to fish you had to be careful not to cross into fed waters on the way back when you had redfish in the boat. Like I said, honest mistake, just don't want it to cost anybody any $$$.
