King tournament

I heard there was a king tournament in Dauphin Island this past November and a 70 + lb king was weighed in. Anybody hear about this?

pretty sure it was nationals in biloxi last year...i think the fish went 74 and some change if i remember correctly

Yep, it was caught at the SKA National in Biloxi last November. It was a whopper!!

I think the ADSFR winner last summer was 64 lbs or so.

It was 64.5 lbs that won the ADSFR last year. The OPsaid that he'd heard about one caught in a tournamentlast November, so I figured (as I'm sure Josh did as well) that he must have been talking about Nationals over in Biloxi. Whichever.......they were both big ol' kings!!!

Looks like the All Tackle record is 93.0 Lbs -caught in San Juan, PR in 1999

The fish that was caught in November at Nationals is the new Mississippi state record (also the new SKA record), and I think the Alabama state record is 67.15 lbs.
