5/25 kayaking off navarre

met up with mark(yaknfish) and dick(FldTrlr) at navarre pier at 600 this morning and caught some cigars and had a nice break off, the line got wrapped on other rods

. then i caught a nice 24in spanish. then my cousin caught a nice bonito and some small spanish on bubble rig. then he switched to a gotcha and caught some hardtails so i threw one of those on a wire leader and was trolling him around the pier. my cousin kept catching hardtail so i called mark(he was way out) and told him so he and dick came in to get some bait and not two mins after he asked if i caught anything my hardtail gets smashed i mean drag was screaming like crazy so i thought it was a nice king,then after around 5 mins i saw it down deep and only caught a glimpse of it and it looked like a jack crevalle but he saw the yak and decided he didnt want to give up yet so another five mins go by and i finally get him yak side and its a HUGE bull red

so everybody is clicking away taking pick and we stuck the law stick up next to him and he had alot left over so i stuck my tape up to it and he went 46 but i ran outa tape but im guessing somehwere around 50 and he was a HEAVY fish id put money on around 30lbs. but all in all it was a great day on the water. it was FLAT calm all day and we had no trouble launching or coming back in.i would post pics but there too big and i dont know how to make them smaller

create free photobucket acct and load there then paste img code in your message...easy way to post pics.....sounds like yall had a good time
