hey guys.i went on a charter yesterday. haborwalk has a 100 bucks per peron for 8 hour special so i figured out its easier to go on a charter than to fill up the boat und dewinterize it...
the trip was on the chackmate with captain georg eller and 6 other guys. water was great maybe 1-2 but fog all day long. i just butterfly jigged and got at least 20 undersizedajs with some amberines mixes inwith the biggest aj was29,5 inches. caught some snappers in the 15 pound range and the other guys caught a load of triggers. actually i only wanted to get some groupers but my 4 gags were all to small. only got a 19 inch scamp. all in all a nice day on the water and some triggers and scamp to grill.
