How r the rigs by daulphin iland , what type off fish r out there right now. is it wourth goin out there?

Probly not brother. If you're gonna keep it close I'd just hit the bar for some reds. We start hitting those rigs in the spring when the cobes come through and what not.

about how far. and what would be a good size boat to go on. 19 capehorn?

there are rigs right in the middle of mobile bay as well as starting about 5 miles offshore and running to the south and west from there. depending on time of year, plenty of kings around those rigs, as well as cobes. we have snagged a few wahoo as well.

Size of boat? Man that depends on how comfortable you feel out there. We've been south of DI fishing around the 201 rig many o times in a 17 footer, caught a many of kings out of that boat, until my buddy replaced itwith a21 footer and I got a 24. So far I've ran 60 miles in mine. get you a sea tow acount, watch the weather and go fer it.
