Default Rig in Mobil bay area

I was wanting to fish Mobil Bay area and was wondering if you can tie up to the oil rigs or do you have to keep a certain distance from them? If you have to anchor up is it better to anchor up currant or down?

yes you can tie up!

Anchor parllel to current if you are going to anchor, that way you can throw a slip coark up current and let it drift back with the current next to the rig!! monster trout!
