Hey guys, Im new to this forum and to offshore fishing in general. My dad and I bought our first off shore boat last summer towards the end of the summer and had alot of success. I have been hearing alot of ppl talk about fishing on the edge and just wondering in general how far offshore it is and what all to expect if we make a trip that far. Thanks for all the help!

It starts about 23 or 24 miles out of pcola pass. You can catch pretty much everything on it

The edge most people refer to is a great place to cut your teeth on both bottom fishing and trolling
