Default Lucanus Jigs

Has anyone had any luck with Shimano's new Lucanus Jigs?

I went fishing with Chaz (Hellerhighwater) and he let me try them out. I was impressed. The snapper seemed to love them especially. I plan on buying some soon. The best part was, you didn't even really have to jig them as hard as you do the other style jigs.

I have heard nothing but GREAT things about them. I just cant bring myself to buy any. If I lost one, it would ruin my whole day. I'll stick to cutbait. I've never had it fail me...

charkbait.com has some braid lures that are knockoff of the Lucanus jigs. They are half the price and they look pretty good.

its like magic. just drop them and let them sit 2-3 cranks off the bottom. i caught everything from red snappers, mingos, pogies, red groupers scamps to sea robins with them. if there is fish you ll catch them.

I've been thinking of getting some (only because my wife wants to know what I want for my b-day). You said you have caught a lot of fish with them and I was wondering what size and colors you were using at what depths.
