I am from northern ky.This will be the first time that I have fished anywhere other that a lake or river. I am asking for a good reputable charter that will put me on some good fishing.There will be 2 ,maybe 4 I'm not sure yet. Thanks.

Inshore or Offshore? Budget?

I am staying in gulf shores. I have called a couple of places and the going rate seems to be about 165 dollars per person.Would i like to find a better deal? Sure, but my main concern is having a good time and catchingfish. I have never been saltwater fishing. I do fish lakes and rivers on a regular basis. As for inshore or offshore,it doesn't really matter. The charters that I checked on were offshore I believe.Thanks.

Check out Chucks Charters, www.chuckscharters.com. He likes to fish 2 - 4 and with 4 you are looking at much less than $165 each. You will catch fish. We limited in one hour 15 minutes last Friday.

I just got back on Saturday. I went out on Zekes Lady last Wednesday. I was a very good experience Good crew .Good captain. Caught fish. It was my first time fishing in the ocean. I took my 15 yr old daughter. She caught 2 keeper red snapper. I caught 3 short ones. we were only out on a 4 hour. i will sure go again if I get a chance to go back.Thanks for all orf the replies.I did call the one that was refered but he had just blew his motor. He said he would be down for a couple of weeks.
