kite fishing (which kite to buy)

I'm looking at getting into kite fishing. I'm going to use the kite for trolling for tuna with a double rig. Which kite and modelwould to try? I troll around 6 knots in 10 to 15 knot winds.

i just got an SFE kite. its rated for 5-25 mph wind. it has an adjustabe bridle which makes it very user friendly. they aren't the cheapest but they are the easiest to use imo. i have tried most other brands with the exception of the frenzy kite. SFE for me. good luck!

No, not at all. Kite fishing you stay in a small area and bump around just enough to keep the kite flying. I have done it while anchored in strong enough wind

I know this isn't the for sale section but it applies to the topic. I've got an Aftco Kite with 2 sets of spars and a kite rod and reel I'll sell you for 150.00 if you haven't picked out a setup yet. The kite has only been used once and the reel was just re-spooled and is already setup with 2 clips. I don't have any pics of it right now but can tell you its a plain rod with a small penn 3/0 reel.
