Default Edge trip...

I need to get some hours on my engines, they don't like to sit. Was seeing if anyone has fished the edge area recently. Any wahoo or blackfin reports?

I went yesterday. Trolled for about three hours with one Bonita to show for it. About noon decided to bottom fish and did well with the usual bottom species.

We trolled yesterday for a few hours out there and near the timber holes , caught a small mako on an skirted ballyhoo . Came back in to try for some kings just to get a bend in the rod and caught a decent mahi Fish tacos baby!

Crystal beach in destin , there's been a bunch of smaller weed lines . Prob can't even call them weed lines more like patches of weeds floating around within 5 miles of the beach and he was on one of the patches we trolled by looking for kings . We got our kings too!

We stopped at the edge Friday. Lots of Blackfin in there and some mahi. Got clipped off by a hoo. There were yellows at 350'.
