Stretch 30's and 25's about 4 kts or so. Any faster they may/will come up or turn severly. Watch your rod tips for maximum action and adjust speed. Calculate lure depth to be 5 to 10 ft off of the bottom (IE: 80 ft water, stretch 30, down rigger down 40 ft= roughly 10 from bottom)and just next to structure. We do thisaround the edges of the inshore public spots. Watch your machine for fish on the bottom and try to run the baits over them. Keep moving forward on a hook up to get the fish away from his home and then reel him in. Sometimes we will jerk on the other baits when we stop and entice another bite.
