Default BFT - Any luck chunking at the edge?

Hey guys looking for a report +/- on folks that have gone out for BFT along the edge in the last couple days. I'm heading to AF for a 179 and this is the last time I'll have lines in and could really use the help.

Taking all the left over pogies, Bob's and mackerel shutting down the bait freezer to save a couple $. Thinking of making a big slick but looking for where to setup at.

I don't think anyone has really tried since the storm but with the water in the low 70's and clean, I would imagine there would be plenty of BFT's out there right now.

Went to the edge Sunday and tried chumming up some BFT. Did not take long for the Kings to show up, Keep four over 25#.The sharks, bonitos & BFT showed up about the same time. We didn't get a BFT to the boat, justthe bonitos & sharks. Caught a coupler of nice AJs And a truck load ofendangered Red snapper.:doh Ended up with the 4 Kings & a limit of Mingo's. We could see the BFT mixed in with the bonitos, but the only ones we hooked up the sharks got.

We went out Sat. and tried to chunk for a while. The bobo's showed up but that is all we could get to the boat. Never saw any BFT. We trolled around a bit as well and didnt get a single hit on cedar plugs and islander/hoos. Oh well, we had a good time bottom fishing.
