We use a danforth anchor on the edge but rig it up as wreck anchor. The way we do it is rig the anchor backwards. I have drilled holes in the shaft of the anchor that we tie the chain to via Zip Ties. The anchor holds like the danforth but when you pull the anchor up with the bouy it breaks the zip ties and pulls the anchor up flukes first. I will trie to post pictures when the weather calms down to show exactly what im talking about.
