Sheepshead

Does anyone target anything but flounder when gigging in Pensacola? If so are they all in the same areas or do sheepies hold in different areas than flounder? What about spades? White trout?

i have killed a lot of sheepheads while i am floundering i find them in the same areas along stucture and stingray holes also

went out last sat nite and killed quite a few sheepies. love to soot them when there movin makes great practice and good eats. going agin this weekend hope to get somemore

What does an average sheepie weigh a pound or so? About 12-13 inches long
