Default this past weekend

went to back to the bay this weekend didn't do any good friday night but did see lot of little fish ,6-8 inches, laying everywhere but nothing big enough to gig .:banghead

only brought home4 myself that night (2.0lb, 3.5lb, 4.0 and 4.5 lbs)...had one get off coming in the boat...for the first time this year i saw at least twenty6"-8" fish like you said. i didn't find calm/clear water and get my first fish until 2am.

What will happen to those 6-8" inchers this Fall? Will they stay deep in the bays and grow or do they head out also?

According to what I have read and been told they don't reach sexual maturity until they are about 12". So it would make sense if they stayed behind. Maybe someone else can add to this.

not for sure what will happen i never really thought about it much to be honest. I just know i got a new digital camera and was hoping to post some pics of flounder but it didn't work out that way oh well it over yet
