At one time I had a couple of butane lights made for flounder gigging that I got around Mobile. They were twin burners with no glass, a metal pan behind and a handle. Anyone seen these around Pcola? Or should I just invest in one of the DC waterproof bulbs?

Thanks for the info!
Well I wound up getting a halogen bulb, it worked fantastic for about 15 min untill it drained the battery. I had a fully charged powersonic 12v 6" x 4" it runs the depthfinder in my yak for a week straight so what gives? Saw alot of short flounder along the beach on the south end of the 399 bridge, got a couple small rays. This was all from the back-up lantern. |

Ya, but what was it? That FF is pulling maybe .5amp of power. The battery your using is for powering those emergency Exit lights. I'm sure it's a very small ahr battery. I do understand that you on a weight budget, but remember this. "If you can't see'em, you can't stick'em." |
