Thanks for the advise on what time is too soon to try finding a bed or two! I do have the Beach Permit for Walton County and I've already set my plans for going behind the Red Bar at night. Man, that place is like a Redfish Heaven! Haven't tried for flounder there yet by gig, but have gotten then on a Pompano rig last year, I believe this one was a placemat! I just know that they won't let youkeep your vehicle on the beach while you're out there after dark, but they will let you launch after dark.
