Just moved from Navarre to Destin this past weekend and decided to check outsome of the bayous for possible hunting grounds , I came across a little parking area and asmall pier hidden from the road. Water was pretty darkand lots of finger mullet getting spooked. There wasan older guy fishing there with live pinfish with no action. I decide to cast a few times for some trout as the sun went down.I tied on a1/8 ounce D.O.A jig head (red) with a D.O.A Shad(root beer w/chartreusepaddle tail). After a few casts I bowed up and pulled in a fat 18 inch flounder. Pics are poor quality-taken with camera phone.

I think I will check this area out by boat this weekend. He's gotta have some brothers and sisters waiting to get their gills pierced.
