Default Whiting

I caught 4 nice ones Sunday around noon in navarre by the pier. All were caught on shrimp. I was surprised to catch anything as cold as its been. I also talked to a guy throwing plastic grubs who said he has been catching flounder along the beach?

Bring on the pomps and warm weather!

Nice. Good job, your braver than I today. Thought about it today and decided against it with that wind. I might give it a shot tomorrow. Last year I got some flounder in the surf too. I've heard there are a few still around.

The new pier is not to the octagon yet, they are extending it another 45 ft out its gonna be a long one! It's also twice as tall as the old pier.

I caught many many kings and spanish right off the end of the old pier last year in a canoe and kayak. Can't wait to try out my new pelican 116 kayak this year!

Spring is coming!

You don't know if you don't go!

Good to hear you got into some Whiting! Maybe the weather will start the warming trend and keep getting better for our fishing reports too! Great report!
