Pompano 11/23/09

Took my little fishing buddy out today for a couple hours. We set up East of Portofino about 2:30 and had our first fish about 5 minutes later.

I reset the rods and had our second 15 minutes later. I also lost one more pomp and caught a small sharpnose shark. Bait of choice today was fresh dead shrimp on a homemade pomp rig. Looks like they have finally showed up!

Great report! Looks like the right place, right time! Kinda like science! lol! Keep up the good work and I bet your fisihng buddie had something to do with it too! I always land'em when I take one of the kids along! Happy to hear you had a fun time and great pics too!
