A few buddies and my self decided to give shark fishing a try and I think we figured it out! My job with John was to take the bait out in the kayak and by the time we got back to shore Joel had already hooked on for a good fight. So I had to get a pic and take a little credit in the catch since it was a team effort haha!
![]() We set another rig out after, but couldnt set the hook on another hit. Then no one wanted to go back out to set more bait lol we all knew there was hungry sharks out there. Its kinda creepy past that second sandbar when you cannot hear anything but yourself at night. |

Where are you trying to see the pictures from? I know some forums I can't see the pictures from my work computer because they block the site where the picture lives. All I get is a red X. If I go to that same site at home I can see the picture fine because the web site where the picture is located isn't blocked at my home computer.

Bet it would be pretty creepy when it was all quite in a kayak out at the second sandbar. We have a 15' Jon boat that I plan on using to take out the baits with. Don't think I'll be going out very many times after chuming the water.

we used a 5-6 foot steel leader with a 9 J hook with 30 lb mono. we tied a milk jug to the swivel with some steel leader so we wouldn't lose it. Used a Bonita that we cut in half and cut a bunch of slits in it.
