thinking about going down to orange beach next week was wondering if anything is hitting maybe someone can save me a trip

Sadly not much these last couple weeks. With the cold snap and now rough waters, it may be late next week to a couple weeks from now before much moves in on the surf. You may want to try the pass for some sheepshead with this warmer weather, but fiddlers and live shrimp are a little hard to come by til things warm up a bit more. You might be able to find some sandfleas. I fished the pier one day last week, and AL point the week before with only very few bites and some small whiting and white trout. I might try fort morgan for some redfish this next weekend and I'll post a report.
