I used some good old sand fleas.. Not fun water kind of cold and i was going deep to get them cause they dont seem to be to close to the waters edge anymore.

Good stuff. Once you start to figure them out, it can get addicting. Congrats!

good job...

Sandy and I took home 12 today... looked at the surf cam this morning and considered conditions near ideal..

found a flat to the E and waded to my chest thru big waves for a long cast to the trough with the 12 footer.. 9 of them were hooked before I got back to the rod spike..it was tough work and chilly with the water temp.. but the bite was continuous. strangely my 9 foot rods would not reach the bite spot with my longest cast.. so it was a 1-rod success story.. I love this kind of day..

no big fish and put two back for another day.. fleas were plentiful

Chris it was good to see you. I moved as adviced and caught my lucky 3 again, thanks. Lots of baby sharks in that one holeI was working on early.

We went out and tried it again tonight about 7-9pm at the surf...a couple of female spotted crabs...then we went over to the bridge and tried our luck in the inter coastal 9-11pm, no luck there either.
