Who was sharkin tonight?

Saw some guys set up on the beach east of portofino this afternoon. I drove by, they had some internationals or tiagras set up and a yak out there. Looked like it was nice out there. Wondering if it was anybody on the forum.

Some friends and i were out that way from 2pm till about midnight. Hooked up to a 5+ foot blacktip. Had to jump in the yak because he spooled 300 yards of PP off my 309 in less than a minute. Then continued to pulled our ass about a half mile down the beach. She sure didnt like an 11/0 foul hooked in the top of her head.... Missed about 4 or 5 others throughout the night. We had a green sun tent and purple umbrella set up on the beach if you say that as well. Stop by and say hey sometime, we hit it up just about every weekend

I would have stopped, I was just leaving. I was trying to get some blues or ladies on the fly rod, but I couldn't find any. Sounds like a ride in that yak!

Didn't see any blues. Got one ladyfish. Saw dozens about 11pm. Some were even up against the shore
