Default sharks

I caught the end of a news report that sjowed hundreds of spinner sharks in the surf in Florida but I didnt catch where. The water looked too clean to be Atlantic. Anybody know anything about this? I thought spinners were scarce.

I know the last time I was in Myrtle beach that's all I caught....everyday they would show up around 4pm when people started to clean the flounder....it was a lot of fun putting a chunk of flounderon and letting it fly....as soon as it hit the water here they came from below and it was on....till they spin enough to get to your line and cut you off....I finally started using around a 8ft steel leader and brought a couple 8 footers back to the pier...on kinda light tackle ....but there were plenty in the Atlantic.:clap
