Looking at a Hot Spot map and it looks fishy. Lots of bottom changes.

go to the very end of pickens, walk the beach till you see bait or birds diving and then try there. The reds are wierd sometimes, they'll bite in a 50 yard section of beach and nowhere else so keep moving up and down if you aren't getting any good action. But really anywhere out there has good potential. I like to start close to the pass as possible just a preference no science behind it I guess.

I've always had good luck around the beach of the 2nd parking lot (Pickens). Always a redfish or two to catch.
