Default whale shark?

so a couple of weeks ago i went out to the liberty. as i was fishing with a buddy of mines, out of nowhere a 25' whale shark was swimming around my boat. there was another boat out there and they saw it too. beautiful animal i tell ya. water was as calmn and clear as it could be. has anyone else ever seen it? isnt it odd for them to be in only 40-50 nfeet of water and that warm? i did take a picture with my phone camera but the glare you could barely see it. just thought id let you guys knnow

Default RE: whale shark?

Whale sharks arenot common, but also not unusual around the inshore wrecks. Kind of late in the season though. We normally see them more in the mid to late summer.
