Default Wade Fishin the rocks

I was wondering why I never see anyone wading or kayaking the area just to the north/west on the Pcola side of the 3 mile bridge. With the flats and the rocks it looks like a great place. Am I missing something?

I shore fished there for about 20 minutes the other day. There were loads, and I mean loads of large mullet. There are lots of oysters strewn about that area, there has to be redfish around there somewhere, but it's never really calm enough for me to run my boat over that way. I'd say it's worth checking out, someone in a 20-some foot Mako was fishing there the other day.

the stormwater that dumps in right there is horrible. I have fished it in my kayak,no success. In the summer it should be banging, as long as the bait is there. that runoff is nasty. sat there during a thunderstorm and watched oil and trash dump out for an hour. no wonder they wanted OYSTER'S there.

Just don't try to eat any of the oysters.
