Trip Report - 7-30-10

Started out a the crack of 10:30 am. The neap tides forced us up the river but I guess it is still a little too early for one of my favorite trout holes to hold fish,however the bass were schooling and the kids had fun catching them and a few were even big enough to keep.We hung out a little while at the island and cooled off. Fried fish and okra for dinner tonight.They will definetly have some stories to tell when they get back home!

, 2 good days of fishing. looks like you got 2 new fishing buddies. i got invite to dixie bar fishing in the morning - will post about trip. good fishing - safe boating. Poppy
