Woke up at 4:00 am and was in the water at Galvez around 5:30 with my stepson and one of his buddys. Fed a couple dozen shrimp to the baitfish before I managed to land a Keeper Red. Although it is on the shorter end of the slot, It was on the higher end of the excitement schale for Me because I usually get skunked or catch under limit whenever I get to go out. Unfortanly, this guy was the only thing in the cooler when we came home. (good for my ego, but not good for every one today.) |

Dennis,
sounds like you guys had a pretty fun time though, and for the Red, it would do the job for me, can't keep but one anyway and it was a legal one at that! I think you were almost out at dead low tide right? |

Chris, we had a blast, I havent really had much of a chance to get out for one reason or annorher. I'm not sure what times the tides were sunday but I hooked this guy around 8:00 am. and like mentioned in annother post He did not fight hard. I was kinda supprised when I got him to the boat that he was legal. ps:I havent forgot about the timer I'll pick one up this week. |

Oh, don't you worry, I appreciate the hand! I hope that one day in the future we can both be out on the water and hook in to a double! Just let me know if you need an address for the timer. I look forward to trips like the one you posted, I love to have the grandchildren involved, that way they can one day tell their children, Oh my grandad used to take us fishing all the time and we used to have a blast! I love family fishing, plus we have a good dinner too!
