Default Speckled Trout in the Intercoastal

I live on the Intercoastal between Shoreline Park and the Bob Sikes Bridge. Every afternoon when the weather permits the Spec's have been running like crazy. I know the season will be closing but with Sundays nice weather I caught and released 16 Spec's in 30 minutes. The time was 4:00 pm. This is crazy for this time of year.

The trout were caught on using Mirrolure Catch 2000 Mullet and the Mirrodine (sp) Mullet color.

The bite is still on whith those fish, grea report. Instead of them being stacked up feeding in one area they have been on the move. This damn weather man!

Sunday the 11th it was cold as hell, very low water, and the Spec's are still here..! We caught and released a dozen or so and kept a few fat ones to eat. There were no worms in most of them. I used to never go out on my dock this time of year. I think this spring is going to be great.

My dock is between Shoreline Park and the Bob Sikes Bridge. I have seen boats that brave the weather catch plenty.
