South Again Charters / 8 May 2012

Today I was joined on the water by Brian and Debbie! My plan today was to try and get them both their Inshore Slam and try to fill the cooler with some fish for them to take back home with them.

The day started out great with a slot Red and a legal Trout in the box within 35 minutes of starting. The rest of the day followed the same trend. We caught and released around 25 trout during the first part of the day with 5 of them being solid keepers that were put in the box to keep our Redfish company. Around 1030 we made the long run to the Pass to try and catch a few Flounder and found them hungry. We managed to land 7 fish in pretty short order and were lucky enough to get to tug on a few Red Snapper and Spanish as a bonus. The weather could not have been more perfect and I couldn't have picked a better crew to fish with today!
