Default Slot Reds in sound

Caught 5 slot reds in the sound this morning using gold spoon. Arms are not long enough to take a good picture from the kayak.

Nice catch man!

How deep was it where you caught them?

Is that a Hobie?

It is a Hobie Mirage Sport. I was catching them in close 2' to 3' and they were hanging around schools of bait. I would have caught more but right after it heated up some guys in an aluminum boat came within 20' of me with a castnet trying to catch mullet for bait.:banghead I try and stay away from people fishing when I am in my boat.

There're a couple of Mullet fishermen in that area that are total inconsiderate boneheads, they have chased the reds away from me more than once, bonifide "Jerk-Offs"!!

:nonono:nonono:nonono

I'll try to stay clear if i see you, i'm about to put my boat at the beach and fish from there!! Good luck and nice catch!!!
